In medical terminology, the "q" stands for "quaque," a Latin word that means "every." When you see "q12hrs" in a prescription or medical instruction, it means that the medication should be taken every 12 hours. This abbreviation is commonly used in healthcare to provide clear and concise instructions for medication dosing schedules.
Our qFriday meetings are designed to be of service to our community of colleagues - a dosing schedule for refilling and restoring, a prescription for fellowship and connection. These are virtual drop-in, stay-as-long-as-you want, come-as-you-are meetings. This virtual (via Zoom) meeting space is open to our cohort of colleagues every Friday from 4-6p MT.

"Go Slow" Cooperative Care Clinics
Need an extra hand? - these clinics offer handling/ restraint assistance for practitioners' own animals or for the animal patient that needs just a bit more time or a less stimulating environment for sample collection. These clinics offer sample collection services for those pets that need a slow approach or the pet parent who just needs an extra hand. 30min go-slow appointments. By referral only. |
